'86 front bumper cover on an '83?

Hey guys I was wondering if someone could help me out with a question I have? So tomorrow or Saturday I might be picking up a 1983 notchback with the 2.3 turbo. I was wondering if I put an '85-'86 front bumper cover on it, if all the other panels would line up? Any help would be great. Thanks!

as far as i know, nothing on the front bumper changed from those years, so you should be fine

I thought so I just wanted to make sure first. My whole thing is I want to keep it 4 eyed because you don't see those as much as the '87-'93. I'm just not to crazy about the grille for 1983.

Absolutely. I'm very excited to be getting this car. The only thing is though the car isn't a 5.0 to begin. So ill be doing the swap as soon as little Billy does that modular swap in his 4 eyed convertible. The reason I'd rather have it not be a 5.0 to begin with is because of how the frames twist up without subfame connectors on the foxbodys. And then with the notchbacks the c pillars tend to crease with the 5.0
